USB VCP Demo Software – Inventek Systems

This software platform allows the user to connect a PC via USB to the Cypress evaluation board. The Cypress PSOC 3 or PSCO5 acts as a VCP port (Virtual Communications Port) and you can communicate directly with the Inventek 802.11n Wi-Fi EVB over UART using simple AT commands.

These evaluation boards can be purchased from Inventek and Cypress of affiliated distributors. Some key features:

802.11 b/g/n Compatible based on Broadcom MAC/Baseband/Radio device.
Fully contained TCP/IP stack thus minimizing host CPU requirements
Configurable though AT commands.
Network features ICMP ( Ping), ARP, DHCP,TCP, UDP
Secure WiFi authentication WEP-128, WPA-PSK (TKIP), WPA2-PSK
